What About PROTEIN?

Everything you think you know about protein issa lie.
Amazingly with all that's promoted in regard to the excessive need for protein, we never hear about any cases of protein malnutrition to support this argument.

Why? Because it doesn't exist.

Even if you choose to buy into the protein hype, do you know the Institute of Medicine's Dietary Reference Intake is only 56 grams per day for men and 46 grams for women. Most of us are getting that in just one sitting.

Remember proteins are only large chains of amino acids (the real building blocks of life) that must be broken down by the body before it can be used. The beauty in fruit is that it is already broken down in amino acids ready for you to digest and absorp.

What About SUGAR?

Natural sugars and its effects on the body should not be compared to refined or table sugar. 

Complex carbs and processed sugars​ are unrecognizable in the body and require more energy to process.

The good news is fruit sugars are simple and ready to be absorbed without the requirement of any further breakdown.

What To Remember?

  • If you are fearful, do not participate in this challenge. As a man thinketh, so is he. Your mind alone has the power to determine your success or failure.
  • Set an intention. What does this challenge mean to you and why. Then forget what every other guru has told you. This is your journey and your path to healing. You can't get it wrong.
  • Keep it simple. If you can have access and can find organic seeded fruit then by all means go for that. If not, trust you will still benefit greatly from conventional ripe fruit even if it's seedless (just wash with water and a little baking soda).
  • To have a good variety of fruits to eat you will want to shop for raw, frozen and dried (no sulfur or sugar added) fruits.
  • We typically overbuy when it comes to produce, so be sure to get a good mixture of ripe and unripe fruits that will continue to ripen after picking (e.g. bananas, cantaloupe, kiwi, mangoes, peaches etc) so that you're able to stock up on fruit without it all going bad at once.
  • You know when you're not fully committed and when you are. You also know when you need to back off and give your body a break. Listen to your body first and foremost, it knows best!

There really are no rules.
